Project Summary
IEC UAE designed and executed a combined fresh air ventilation and cooling system for RAK Porcelain's production and warehouse facility in Ras Al Khaimah. The scope brought together a Fresh Air Handling Unit (FAHU) with heat recovery and a VRF air-conditioning system — delivering continuous filtered fresh air, controlled extraction of odour-laden air, stable temperature, and managed humidity across the working areas.
Client Overview
RAK Porcelain is one of the world's leading manufacturers of professional-grade porcelain tableware for the international HORECA industry, operating a large-scale production and warehousing facility in Ras Al Khaimah. Their operation demands consistent indoor conditions — clean air for staff, controlled humidity for product decoration and printing quality, and stable temperatures across large open production and storage volumes.
Scope of Work IEC UAE Delivered Complete Ventilation & HVAC Execution, Including

Project Challenges
Our Solution
IEC UAE engineered an integrated fresh air and cooling strategy rather than treating ventilation and air-conditioning as separate systems.
Our approach included:
Results / Outcome 🏆
Clean, Odour-Free Air
Continuous fresh air supply with controlled extraction eliminated odour build-up across production and warehouse areas
Controlled Humidity
Stable moisture levels supporting consistent porcelain decoration and printing quality
Reduced Power Consumption
Heat recovery lowered the cooling load on incoming fresh air, cutting operational energy cost
Improved Working Environment
Comfortable, consistently cooled conditions for staff across large open production and storage volumes
